About Anne

Even as a child, I had a flair for the dramatic, and public speaking, acting, and writing have been my constant companions. For over 10 years, I have researched, written, and produced my own lectures and performances with a focus on educating and entertaining audiences.

As a former newspaper history columnist and publisher of the Topsfield Historical Society's news magazine Local Lore, I'm dedicated to making history interesting for audiences.

Named Storyteller of the Year by the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2006, I created and presented ground-breaking historical presentations for North Shore Music Theater audiences. The experience led to these lectures and performances.

As President of the Topsfield Historical Society, I am an eager costumed docent for special events throughout the year, where I greet and educate visitors about the historic buildings the Society maintains.

My roles as a former Mrs. Essex County, and lead actress in community theater productions, have honed my performance skills.

I Make it Easy for You!

I strive to make your experience as easy as possible, so all you have to do is choose your date. Lectures and performances are available in-person or via Zoom.

I can send you a jpg and pdf of a promotional poster, if you require assistance in marketing your event.

I bring everything I need for my lectures, including laptop, projector, podium, and a portable PA system if required. All you need to provide is a screen or wall for projection, and a table for my laptop and projector.

For my character performances, I bring everything I need, including costume items and props, and a portable PA system.

I am extremely flexible and can work with your space. Typically rooms and auditoriums are set up theater-style, but you can let me know if you have other ideas or requirements.
